Thank you Ann for your reflection. As we go forth with 40 Days for life beginning Feb 25th-April 5th it seems as if the devil is rearing its ugly head and seeing how it can torment anyone standing in his way. Thank you for being faithful in posting your reflections, they help us all to understand things better.

Hey Ann,
Great article! Just to let you know, Bishop Burbidge will consecrate (dedicate) the altar in the cemetery on Friday, October 3rd at 11:00 with the celebration of Holy Mass (It will be Fr. Frank’s first Mass since his funeral. I say that because he is so close to the altar). The Bishop will also celebrate Mass on that same altar on Monday, November 3rd at 11:00 in memory of the deceased clergy of the diocese. Everyone is welcome to both celebrations. Hmmmmm………we at OLPH did not notice that the Feast of the Annunciation was being celebrated March 31 not the usual March 25………….I will investigate whether or not we are still having Mass as announced on Tuesday, March 25 at 7pm for the Day of the Unborn Child.

Ann,
I had to re-read your reflection a few times to wrap my mind around what you must have been going through during your conversation with the gardener. I’m sure you just wanted to reach out and pull him off the property and say it’s not ok! You have made him think, that I’m sure of. I too will pray for the conversion of hearts toward life, especially for those Catholics and Christians who accept abortion.

Yet another glaring example of the absurdity of this entire, sad, sad mess into which we have gotten ourselves. As Jim Sedlak so aptly says, “Behold the Lord, Jesus Christ, who tries so hard to get our attention.” I will be praying that He gets the gardener’s attention this time. Well done Ann, “good and faithful servant”.

Wow. Nando reports that the first day of Susan Hill’s career as an abortionist was 1 week after Roe v Wade.

She has a story of abuse that week that involves the unborn child’s grandmother driving 250 miles regarding “her problem” to “fix it”. Admittedly this was a tough case, but do 2 wrongs make a right?

Hill reports that “She has trouble describing what she does for a living.” and that “Work consumes her.” If she were to stop killing babies, I wonder what she would do…

I like this blog. I had to chose abortion or life back in June when I found out I was pregnant and I chose life. Now I am 5 and 1/2 months and couldn’t be happier!
